Why not try it and let us know !😁

My money would be on needing a pair of trainers close by for a quick sprint...based on absolutely no knowledge in particular ..

Never had a problem with old gels. They're sterile and sealed so should be good for years.

I find energy gels give me the squits even if they're in date. What's the worst that could happen?

As Akers says, they are sterile, sealed and contain essentially sugar and water. I was told by the owner of a well know energy products company that they've tested batches that are years out of date and they were fine.

2 years out of date? Erm....   it won't kill You, just try it? I've been using some gels that are "Use By Sept 2017" (due to me forgetting I had them in the cupboard!), I expected a funny tummy, but no. They even taste "normal".

Been using out of date gels for a while with no issues. I buy them near end of date as they are cheaper.

Mine are all out of date  ( I bought a lot when Canyon were selling them cheap). No negative effects yet.

I have tubs of drink powder which is all out of date. Mrs aracer suggested I should get rid of it on that basis 🙄 - it's dried powder, what exactly is likely to happen to it?

You’ll be fine. I used one that was three and a bit years out of date the other week and I lived!
