Just wanted to recognise the excellent service I have received from Pete at Osprey.

I broke the clip on the waistband of my raptor and he promptly sent another out including the webbing. It's the second time they've sent bits out after I broke the chest strap by crushing it in the car door.

Great service - thanks!

Evoc did same for me, after I did the same trick with the car boot. Good stuff.

Osprey are one of the best companies out there. Their approach to moving production to Vietnam is something that others should take notice of. Real care for their employees.

Good people,good products.

I also had a escapist with burst zip stiching, which was probably my fault. They sent out a new bag as a replacement. Great kit.

Same here.

I broke a clip and they sent a new one the next day.

Are they any easier to fill than camelbaks?

My camelbak drives me nuts

Yes they are a lot easier to fill than camelbaks.

They have a useful handle on them to help you fill them properly unlike a camelbak that just flops about.

I find the bladder a little (tiny bit) harder to fill to the brim due compared to camelbak bladders, due to the rigidity of the plastic bladder support. However the ability to swiftly drop the bladder into the bag with no-fuss or faff and the single zip access/securing of the hose over the shoulder is first rate, wouldnt go back to camelbak due to that alone, nevermind the better comfort/fit i feel with the osprey bags ive got.

I do like my Osprey pack, and had great support from them with a leaky bladder a few years ago, but I do prefer CB bite valves over their version.

I could do with some waist clips - I keep treading on the damn things at work 🙁

The waist clips on Osprey packs seem to be common issue looking at this thread! I've got two Osprey packs (both several years old) and one waist ('fanny') pack and the waist clips broke early in their lives, on both back packs.

Will get in touch with Osprey now I know that the service seems to be so good.
