Yep, +1 for OSMand+, takes a while to get fully used to the interface but it's excellent. There's a free version if you want to try it out, but the full version is definitely worth it.

Osmand+ is brill. Used it a lot on the TD when the gpx track on my garmin 810 was too vague. Also does a good job of being a car sat nav when starting journeys in areas with no signal for google/waze, etc.
Viewranger works for me. Work on your laptop then sync to your phone
