Please remind me...

Were these suitable for an 80mm travel fork?

I have gathered bits to build into a bike for my mates daughter and am missing a suitable xc focused frame...

Thanks all.

Yes, I have used 80mm (BITD) forks, 100mm forks, 440mm rigid forks & 470mm rigid forks on mine, I actually built it up again yesterday with the 470mm forks & it feels fine for such an old bike compared to my modern Merida.

Cheers.

They're even better with the On-One rigid fork.

If that's my old Scandal, Zippy, it's a MK2, which was happy with 80-100mm, but best at 100 from memory. The other difference was that the MK2 has a tapered head tube. Both frames are rather ace!
