[Closed] Organic or sintered disk pads for the commuters?

Getting the dreaded howl on the front wheel so suspecting I've contaminated a pad, probably need some new ones anyway.

So, mostly commuting on the hardtail, though all weathers (though admittedly rain isn't currently forecast....) - the STW choice - sintered or organic pads?

Outright power I'm less bothered about, low noise is nice but seem to get conflicting reports on t'interweb wheter organic really are quieter. More likely to pick up oil and crap from the roads so suppose just the cheapest decents ones would be the sensible option.
