If you own one you'll probably agree it's a great bike let down by the stupid location of the on / off switch 🙄😔 I've already had mine replaced once , I see a lot of owners covering theirs with clear tape . My concern is even if the switch is nice and dry are you potentially trapping moisture underneath?
I'm hoping Orbea recognise the issue and offer a redesigned switch with a cover in the future but I'm not holding my breath 🙄

This the Alu model located on the flat area of frame?
I’ve Carbon and only a few weeks old. At least located on seat tube so should shed not gather water.

Cant help on your particular issue but for the 2023 bikes they have got rid of that frame on/off all together and its now on a Shimano unit on the handlebar.

They are obviously aware its a bad design.

On the Carbon model the button at least acts as a useful dropper insertion guide. Once the switch pops out the frame you know you’ve gone to far! Don’t ask how I found out on my brand new bike 😩

Funky Dunc for some reason mine switches on on the frame but there's also a switch on the bars that you have to use as well ?
