Hi, I'm trying to get a replacement for my kids bike but cant seem to find a crankset that will fit. Tried buying a frog one but the cranks are straight and hit the chain stays.
Anyone any ideas for one that will fit?
If its sq taper SJS do several
https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/chainsets-single/?length=102&length=127
If you want lighter/better/external BB then Hope/Trailcraft etc.
How xidnyounwork out the chainstay clearence for those options?
How long are the originals/frog?
What length did you need?
Orbea website says 127mm cranks
@speeder - the overall length of those is for 152mm - it's got 2 sets of holes.
I have an MX20 I can take measurements off of if you like.
Have you tried asking Orbea directly? I'd imagine it's something they would have.
That would be great. Thanks!
The cranks are stamped with "prowheel forged ounce bcd110 127" and guess what, that's a thing:

Now, the chain line given on the site for all variants is 43.5mm which corresponds to the inner ring (mine came as a double with a bash on the outside) however that's completely wack so I moved the ring to the outside, threw away the bash and now have a 50mm chain line that corresponds with the centre of the 9sp cassette.
Mine is a 2019 or 18 disc model so YMMV but I don't think the models vary all that much. I think your best hope is to get onto aliexpress and see what turns up.
