Would you buy one?
It's a 4 year old bike, the geometry is very similar to my Marin and neither are 'cutting edge'.
I've had an itch for one since I tested on at Comrie back in 2019...
I'm trying to work out if spending significantly more on a similar 120/130mm bike with more modern geometry and warranty is worth it.
I would not have one even if it was free with a yearly Greg's sausage roll prescription
:0)
For balance, I would (did) buy one, it's ace! No Greg's sausage rolls were involved either.
Yes, great bikes and the geometry is not that far off modern bikes. When I was looking for a decent 27.5" bike for my 10 year old son it was one of the few bikes available. I run it with a -2 degree angleset and a 120mm fork to keep the seat angle steeper.
Always liked my strange 26” 5 and the four has been on my “frames to buy if one comes up cheap” list.
If it was going to crack it would probably have done so by now.

That's the smaller wheel segment equivalent?

I would.
The very 1st issue 4's in 2016 had a fair few bikes cracking on the rear triangle, as mine did. The rear triangle was redesigned in 2018, when I got my entire frame replaced under warranty, and I haven't heard of anyone having problems since.
Mine's an XL frame, (I'm 6ft 1in) and you're welcome to come over and take it for a spin around Plean / Torwood with me if you want to remind yourself of just how fantastic a bike it is.

Not that I want one but some pictures would be nice

Friend snapped her relatively new (2020?) Orange in 2021.
Carried it into the brewery in two halves - the only thing holding it together was the cables.

@Beagleboy - I am 6'1" and I was looking at a Large - is a few mm bigger than my Marin, plus what orange suggest size wise.. Do you think the XL is worth a consider?
I am weighing up warranty and newer of a a brand new bike @£2.5k or a second hand at half that...
Hmmm
I'm 6' 2" and have had loads of full suss Orange over the years. Last two have been a Stage 5 and a Segment, both XL and both spot on. Before that I had a large 5 29 which I was right on the limit of being comfortable on.

Might be comparing different things but I (6') ride an XL Five (2020) and prefer the riding position over a L 2017 T130 But I am getting old. My daughter has a 2017 four and it has been a good bike. Both frames second hand.
Here’s mine.I bought it new, 6 years ago and it’s still going strong. It’s just had another weekend up the Lakes, keeping up on the descents with my mate on his 23 Spectral. It’s way more capable than the numbers might suggest.
I love it. I’ll only replace it when I have to. As I’m 55, planning to keep it until I fancy an e bike, in 5 years or so.
Edit: I’m 6ft and find the large a perfect fit for me.

How?
How?
Just riding along.
It had been back to the shop multiple times for an unsolvable creak. Then it failed, while just riding along.
That generation of Oranges were short by modern standards, but the seat tubes weren't too high.
So I'm 5ft 8in and I've had a large Stage 4 and Stage 6. They were slightly shorter than I'd choose but still fit well.
So for your height, I'd say definitely get the XL if the seat tube length works for you. And if you want a fast, fun trail bike I'd say to have a look for a Stage 4 and put a -2deg headset in it.
Hmmm, I was erring towards and XL as well - at 6'1" I am right on the button between then according to Orange....
I think I might pass this one by.
