You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hi, I am interested in the new Orange Five. I´am 6ft (182 cm) an my Leg Length/Inseam is 32,5" (82 cm). What size do you recommend? Now I Ride an Yeti Sb66 in Medium with an 50 mm Stem. It´s OK, but I think the Large Frame with an 35 mm Stem would be OK too.
And no, I don´t have a local dealer for me to try. 😉
(Sorry for my bad english).
I'd be looking at the large if I were you.
You're spending upwards of £3k, travel to wherever your nearest dealer is - but call before and they can arrange with Orange a demo bike.
And based on my ride on a large, and I'm taller (longer legged) than you - a large should be right.
Large definitely
Large. I'm a couple of inches shorter and about to demo one, and folk are saying I could ride a large (despite always opting for medium Oranges in the past). I'll be trying out both, but I'm pretty sure you'll be large.
Thank you!
I'm same size as you and have a 2015 five in large, feels right.
5'10 ride a medium, but could ride a large, as cockpit on mine set almost same as a slammed large.
For me the medium felt more nimble.
