trying to put one of these together.....just wondered if anyone had ridden theyre and what is it like? also who would be up for coming? id probably get some other brands theyre as well
interesting philosophy, although the trail is somewhat limited.
would be better at Laggan imo, esp XC / AM bikes.
however, i'd happily attend @ the lecht !
I would come along, proabably with a few other folk from aberdeen area.
as a place to ride, the two tracks are good fun, not DH bike teritory as they are far to peadaly to keep the speed for the jumps, 5 and 160 territory i would say.
cheers
Dave
as above - the 5 would be sufficient for Lecht's limited trails.
fwiw, there's still skiing / boarding up there at the moment - may take a month or so before it begins to disappear.
yep thats what i thought...it would be in the summer 😆
I'd come along and probably take two or three others.
usually, we get around 20 of us heading there for the day.
AFAIK, only 1 of our group has an Orange !
ha ha! i would attempt to change that!
Maybe this is a daft comment but the Lecht's in the middle of nowhere and there's not an awful lot there. Whereas Laggan isn't so very far away and there's a lot there. It seems a bit of an odd choice for a venue. Don't get me wrong, I'd like the lecht to succeed as a riding venue but they seem to have gone into it totally half-assed.
its pretty close to aberdeen....
I'm up for this if I'm at home at the time.
I'd also be up for this.
A wee reminder that this years Laggan demo weekend is on the 24th & 25th April, more info on the website http://www.basecampmtb.com
If you get a date sorted for a demo at the Lecht send me the info and I will give it a bit of promo at Wolftrax for you.
if i can get my boss to give me a day off i will be there. x
