Hello
I am looking to buy a crush xl 29.
Looking at all the geometry of modern hardtail, the crush at 462 Reach seems a fair bit shorter than most other similar sized bikes (even vs the P7 and the clockwork).
Is this something I should be concerned about?
Thanks

I went from a M Five(26) to a L Crush27.5
The age gap was so vast that I knew I couldn’t read anything into the Crush geom numbers.
I chose by trying the M and L bikes, because like you’ve spotted the numbers seem to suggest L is the new M. Their size guide does seem to be correct (for me). Where do you fit on that?

No idea how the 29 is affected by geometry though.

I assume you can’t get to try one out...

Yep based on current geo numbers, it’s really short.

Short yes but also bear in mind that the seat angle is 74deg on the orange where as the longer frames would be anything from 75.5 to 77.5 degrees so over all it will feel more roomy than it looks in number form.
I’m 6.4 and would have happy bought a crush 29er if they’d had a frame only when I was looking and would defo return to them as a frame at some point

I'm 6'1 and ride a Large Crush Pro 27.5". Usually an XL in other bike sizes but the Large fits me perfectly.
