Had the above since new - BB and Headset now loose as bearings have never been changed. Have one previous experience of changing on Whyte T130 and was fairly painless.

However, apart from knowing the BB is 68mm i cant find any other details for what to order for BB or Headset bearings. I also don't know if i need to know anything specific to this bike in terms of do i need specific tools or process significantly different to the Whyte.

i was looking at this as a BB option? https://www.wiggle.co.uk/race-face-x-type-team-xc-bottom-bracket
The Orange site isnt very helpful so would appreciate any help

Here is the bike for reference

I think raceface cranks are 24mm spindle? So get a shimano bb.
Headset bearings you probably need to drop the forks out to see what they are

Open the geometry bit on the link you posted. The exact headset size is listed under tech info. As for the bottom bracket any standard Shimano 68/73 will work. Make sure you have the correct tool to fit the newer style slim shell though.

Shimano now use a smaller bottom bracket shell compared to what they used to and what most others use. This means a standard external bb tool is too big.

You are meant to get a shim with a new Shimano bb that sorts the job but if you buy from CRC or the like there's a decent chance they won't include the shim as they don't always come in the correct packaging.

If you buy the Raceface one you will be fine.

Follow the link you posted to the orange site. At the bottom click the geometry info, it tells you exactly what headset
