Stuck between sizing again thanks to my genetic makeup XL or Large in the Alpine 6 frame, its a long bike to start with but I get the feeling the xl will feel more like an ocean liner, just after riders thoughts

Large suitable for 6.2 and 34" leg ?

Defo give them both a go if you can. Just in case it helps, I'm 5' 10" and a medium suited me fine. My mate is the same height but went for a large, which I find too long in the reach - it would hurt my back climbing (and it's a bike that climbs very well). I also found the medium was long enough in the wheelbase for superb stability but also short enough to get around very tight switchbacks - perfect for me. Stand-over is great on all of them. It's a mint bike and very versatile, especially if you can afford the Float X2. You'll not be disappointed. I ended up with a Five, just because I prefer less travel and a bit more agility for 90% of my riding. It was a very close call though.
