My wife rides a 2006 orange 5 and is looking to get a new one to replace it. Is the current M the equivalent of a 16" of old. (Geom updates aside).

Thanks

The current S has a 16" seat tube, so I'd say that was the equivalent. How tall is she? I'm 5'8 (if I stand tall) and have a M, but it is long.

Thanks, she's 5 8 too. I see what you mean about the length. Looking at the geometry I think the reach will be too far on the current M. The current M is 30mm longer in the ETT than her current 5.

It might be ok, don't forget she's probably got a 90mm stem on the old 5, new one is 50mm stock. ETT not as important as reach (I sound like a bloody bike mag 🙂 )

my mk2 large (18") is longer than my old 2013 18"

As above the small is a 16" so that should be the equivalent size maybe a little longer.
