Hi folks,
I was wondering if anyone has one of these bikes with a pannier fitted?
I bought a "fits all disc brake bikes" pannier and when I got home, found out it doesn't as the bike doesn't have the wee holes to screw it into.
Have seen the other type of pannier that hangs off the seat stem but the weight limit is only 10 kilos. It would be a bit more perhaps, but again, I haven't got the holes to mount a strut onto.
Have a wee ride kids seat fitted in the middle so putting anything there is not an option.
Anyone have any other ideas?

There are many kits and gadgets available to allow you to use a conventional rack on a frame with no mounts. the easiest is p clips. you get seat clamps with rack mounts and you get axle mounts as well.

jusat make sure yo get bits that will work! the axle kit in the tubus range is only for tubus racks without modification for example. P clips should work for any rack as will the various top mount options
Most of the fairly recent Avalanches have a large hole near the dropout that takes an adaptor made by GT for fitting racks to.
