I'm sure this has been covered before but I can't find it.
I'm need some hooks for hanging bikes upright on a wall.
They don't need to swing or be on a rail or anything, there's plenty of room. Most are conventional MTB and road bikes but there is one fat bike , 27.5x3.8, and one TT bike with really deep rims, 60mm and 80mm. The heaviest is a fairly sturdily built Cotic Rocket. They can all have their rear tyres on the floor if required to take the weight.
What are the best ones out there? Or should I just make some wooden blocks to put the tires in with a bungee or something across to hold the wheel in?
Thanks
Just seen the typo in the the title, and now awaiting all.kinds of number based puns.
A quick Google threw this up...
"The Hanging Tree in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, is a historical site where nine Ndebele warriors were hanged by British settlers in 1896-7. It symbolizes resistance to colonialism and is considered a trigger for the armed struggle that led to Zimbabwe's independence."

You'd have to be really square to do such a thing.

Just say no.
Rode a bit close to a hawthorn on Sunday and snagged my new jersey. It's now got a hanging thread, just the one, not nine, but it's really annoying. Any seamstress insights?
Decathlon bike hanging hooks are good... to a point. Versatile; you can attach them however you want, etc; but they're probably going to struggle with the fat bike and the deep dish aero rims

We need to root out people who do this sort of thing.

That could be both part real and part your imagination, does that perturb you?
If you plan to rest the back wheels on the floor then the Clug brackets work well for me. Easy to mount on plasterboard (probably) or wood mounted on concrete garage wall. Not so easy to mount directly on concrete if your SDS game is amateur rather than professional.
watch out for squishy brakes when you set off due to the position of the bike causing any air to move from the reservoir to the calliper and lines. Resolves after a few ‘pumps’ (looking at you Shimano brakes).
I hang my nines alternately so the the tops and tails interlock neatly.
