Bikes 3 years old now but is it outdated? 1 X 10 doesn't bother me especially at £700! RS Revs and Reverb included, anyone got one? Opinions?

Press fit BB?
There's one good reason.
On the other hand, £700 is cracking value.

Great bike and an absolute bargain.

However it is very short, much against the trend of current bikes. Will depend on your riding and preferences if that’s good or bad.

The geometry is the reason I didn't get one. As above, very, Errr, gatey.

Very short, upright geometry. Frame is over 7lb in weight... Cracking paint jobs though!

I have one

short, upright geometry. Frame is over 7lb in weight

is bang on.  Which I found a nice contrast to my Geometron FS

I have one, it is short, it isn't light. It does feel utterly bullet proof and is good fun. It may be the first frame I've owned that's me proof.

After all my bikes got nicked, although I have access to a lovely retro Kona (thanks to a good friend) I am equally trying to see why not to buy one of the Onza bikes!

I think they look fantastic and I'm pretty ambivalent to the whole longer is automatically better thing.

Go for it I say.👍

Looked at the payoff the lat time they had them discounted to 699. They don't publish much in the way of geometry anywhere so difficult to tell what they are really like. I couldn't find reach or standover anywhere. They got plenty of good reviews as being slightly holigan hardtails though. The Head angle is about 68? So not that far off a lot of the less extreme slack bikes around at the moment.
I say give it a go.

I love mine. First rode one at the bike show in 2016 and of all the bikes i rode it was my favorite. When my mate decided to sell his Onza frame i bought it and buolt it up. Great to ride with 120mm forks.

the frame was on my wishlist, the BB put me off
I ended up with a DMR trailstar which was one of my 3 choices.
