I've got a 456ti frame, I think it's the mk1 as it doesn't have the extra brace for the brakes on the rear triangle.
I was going to build it up as my lads next bike. Would anyone know what the head angles would be for the 4,5 and 6" fork options or be able to direct me to a source of info?
Try this

I have a ti456 also
One of the Lynsey ones with billet dropouts
Nice bikes..
I've the Mk2 with the brace and it rides nice with 120, 140 or 150 forks - why does it matter what the head angle is?
Just don't put a bigger disc than 140/160 on the rear.
Cheers chaps.
So definitely the same geo as the steel ones, I did wonder about that.
Just trying to decide if the geometry would put the lad at any disadvantage to his peers in competitive situations.
I am riding 130 u turns on mine ,I did try than would done but did not really notice any difference in handling , well a bit sharper . Just leave them at 130 now
I tend to use the way back machine to get old geo data. Usually comes up ok. 🙂
So definitely the same geo as the steel ones,
Not exactly as when I built mine up from the parts straight off my steel 456 (same era) I had to adjust the saddle angle.
He won't be disadvantaged in any way, a couple of years ago I was the sweeper on a local Enduro event and used the 456Ti as my FS was 'sick'. According to Strava I was in the top half on times 🙂
Just went out to the garage to look at it, jeez it's light and that bow in the top tube, phwoar.
I had a Lynskey built one. It was my last 26er, 10 years ago now. Build light singlespeed with stans Crests and a 120mm Reba. Great bike.
It was considered slack at the time. Seems like my preferred reach has increased by over 100mm since then!
Change of plan, frame is now up for swaps in the classified ads.
