I've got a Specialized Camber Evo 2015 and after riding it for a few months I noticed that the travel looked short compared to other people's bikes.

Anyway I measured it with a tape measure and it came to just 85mm! I then checked the air pressure and it was a bit low so put air in it up to the recommended 105psi and it now measures 100mm, still 20mm off what it is specced at.

According to the specs it is supposed to have 120mm of travel and even on the fork it mentions that it's a 120mm travel fork. Anyone know why it just measures 100mm ?

I can't remember if it has always been like this since new.

normal method to determine travel is to let all the air out and see how far you can compress it. There may be a 'bumper'/compressible travel stop that will affect the full travel you see even with no air in there.

Sounds like the fork is negatively charged, possibly due to the transfer port being blocked.
Remove all air from positive air chamber, remove air side lower bolt and use 4 mm allen key to depress the recessed air valve inside the air shaft and pull to full extension.
Refit bolt and re pressurize.

What Loco says, I guess he knows what fork you have. Too much air in the negative chamber.
