I have a 10kg bike box to send and just tried to book in via Parcel monkey and was quoted £40 for delivery. This seems a bit steep and I thought around £20 was the going rate - does anybody have any recommendations on firms ?

parcel2go but avoid Yodel like the plague. Or direct with TNT as I always seem to end up booking them through parcel2go anyway
