I'm looking for a new set of flats, requirements are quite low profile, decent grip, under 100 notes and the one ups seem to fit the bill. Any thoughts, have also seen some from HT components but what else is worth a look?
The plastic ones or the alu ones? I have a set of the alu ones and they're lurvely. Grippy as anything. Don't work well with crank boots though.
Alu ones - no crank boots = no worries! Ta
They seem very well made, they're light and slim, but the bearing / seal looks convincing. They're nice to ride on at any rate.
EDIT : no crank boots - me neither now 🙂 Carbon cranks though so I do wonder whether I'm just crazy, but it was the easiest fix to get them on the cranks... Probably worth a thread of its own 🙂
