has anyone running a one up EDC managed to get there garmin central in the stem and still be able to use the EDC without conflict?

it would be no problem taking the garmin off to access the EDC but don't want to have to be turning the garmin mount to access it?

any solutions out there? don't want the garmin out front nor to the side, would still prefer it as central as possible

garmin on the top tube, still central - allows access to the edc.

interesting I have thought about that before - how have you secured it on the TT? just the bands supplied? how does it do for navigation purposes though down there?

If you don't mind having it slightly to the front, K-Edge's adjustable stem mount would be the best option (link). There is also a fixed version, but it might interfere with your stem.

I use one of these  https://k-edge.com/shop/computer-mounts/garmin-mounts/fixed-garmin-stem-mount/

I still have to remove the garmin but it means I can still read the garmin.  For me the top tube was too far back

Also interested in this. Think we talked about this but the bands would put the Garmin quite a way back from the headtube because the top tube and down tube meet further back. Think that makes sense!

top tube is actually a terrible place to put it IME its too far back

an infront mount fitted backwards behind the stem is the best solution - keeps the garmin protected as well .... i did have mine out front but it got damaged in an OTB so i put it behind the bars.

Trail rat - yep I agree, but it has to have access for the EDC tool in the stem

fathomer - indeed I think it wouldn't work on mine plus I store the spare tyre there too haha!

a good idea by a mate was to use a reverse sram/garmin one but just tighten it enough so its in place, but can be rotated on the bars slightly to use the edc tool, that's the best option so far

PAULWF - do you use this setup with the EDC? if so do you have a pic please? I don't mind removing the garmin to gain access to it at all, that would be ideal
