Any feedback on the ONeal pinned pedal flat MTB shoes ? Currently using Five Ten Freeriders but they're like sponges for water and take days to dry out. Looking for a decent flat pedal shoe for longer XC routes.

I got a pair in the summer and use them more than my Five10 impacts.

In fact I was out in them today and it was very loose, muddy, snowy and wet and they performed very well.

They flex a little more than Five10’s but that for me is a good thing.

Keeping then clean is ok with a quick rinse with the hose as I was doing the bike and then near a radiator

I got then as an alternative and am loving them more, I would recommend

Great to hear, anyone else ridden in these. How stiff is the sole, looking for quite a stiff sole for the longer rides.

I bought a pair about 3 months ago, they're no where near as grippy as 5 10s, my feet bounce off on fast rocky descents and I feel as though the sole is too stiff.
I got them wet and while they dried quickly they stink like cat pee and have to live in the shed. I bought a pair of 5 10 Sleuth the
O Neal's are that bad, I couldn't find any Elements or Impacts at a sensible price in my size

Check your local Go Outdoors as Loughborough had a few pairs of these in for £35 last weekend - 8, 9.5 and 10 IIRC...
