Its doing a grand old duke of york (not the pizza express sex case one).
Just serviced it which i thought went fine, but now after re inflating it can be compressed even if actuator is not engaged. Plus even when pushed down it slowly creeps back up. What on earth have i done???
Is it the cable?
Nope. Happens without cable attached. I can push it down by hand and it then slowly creeps back up
I had this recently with my Oneup post.
Ended up having to change the cartridge.
Is there any slack movement in the actuator arm before it starts pushing the long actuator rod?
Even if the post is out of warranty ping them an email and they'll help you out with a discount code for the spares to sort it.
They really are a very helpful bunch.
As above - sounds like the cartridge has gone.
Relatively easy repair job in the scheme of things.
I'll second what's been said above - cartridge is borked. I have read that they can be rebuilt, but I just got a new cartridge for mine, cba with spending time on it then finding that the worn out part is the only one I can't get a replacement for, or, It appears fixed then lets me down (pun intended) in a race or at an uplift day or something.
