I use the Ztto lever with a V1 post and I'm pretty happy with it.

I put one of those on my mrs bike and it works great actually. What cable is it for a v2?

I just bought a Oneup with their own remote and it uses a normal gear cable.

The oneup remote is great (IMO)

Use the ZTTO as others do, does the job, not really a complex lever, which is a good thing, and pretty similar to those twice the price (or more!).

Bontrager dropper remote

Just popped this on my one up dropper and works great . One of the pluses was it comes with sram and shimano adapters as well as its own clamp.

This and a standard gear cable?

I’m using ZTTO levers on both bikes. They do the job better than the brand x ones and the mk1 Bontrager lever (although that latter lever was nicely built it seemed harder to push with the oneup post - like it didn’t have enough leverage.

If I was feeling fancy I’d have probably looked at either the proper Oneup one or maybe the PNW loam lever. Although how the companies can justify the cost of those vs a complicated gear shifter unit that comes in at half the price I don’t know.

I have a One Up lever one one bike and a Wolf Tooth Remote on another. Both are great but I prefer the Wolf Tooth one ever so slightly. The ZTTO is basically a clone of the Wolf Tooth one and about 1/3 of the price though so factor that as well.

Have used the one-up, pnw and sdg remotes. All seem to work just fine. As others have said, the official ones are actually very good.

Any decent gear cable and a Wolf tooth light action lever.

Yes, standard gear cable and outer.

V1 and V2 actuators are different as the V1 uses a wee rubber washer to cold grub end of cable in
V2 you slide part of it forward and the grub end slides in and secures
Far better set up
Wolf tooth one up or any remote would generally work as long as it takes the cable at the remote
As some take the grub end similar to how the shifter does and cable is fed in to mech
