Magic crystals?
I wondered if it was some sort of transponder.
or a sticker.
after having been shaken senseless on the Roubaix I'm betting it is where one of his bollocks has ended up.
Probably the top off a gel from the race.
Looks like he's hiding one in his shin too..
I'd say he wasn't trying to hide anything.
If he was then he's ****ing crap at it.
Or a scab.
Small vial of drugs he was hoping to consume on the cobbles without anyone noticing ?
Really OP what do you wish to claim here?
Really OP what do you wish to claim here?
not claiming anything. Someone posted a 'what's he got in there?' tweet and I thought 'what's he got in there?' and thought I'd post on here.
Given the size and shape it seems like it could be some sort of pill.
Maybe he gets hay fever and it's a Contac4000 or something?
Have a look at @ciaran_flynn feed for further wondering.
The photo of Wiggins is not from P-R, but from RVV the previous weekend.
Didn't get a close-up in the telly footage, but does look a lot like Henry VIII, doesn't he?
I bumped into Richie Porte one night in town (he lives over here) and I reckon the biggest danger in cycling is getting lamped for being the prick asking the question again. We had a laugh about it and he showed off his non track marked arms. This was after he had done a 400km+ road ride that week for his birthday.
This is partly why a sport needs an amnesty, get it all out now and move on.
Assuming it is a pill it could be anything from a caffeine pill to pain killers. Hardly likely to be anything illegal in such an obvious place, is it?
surely a pil would get wet with sweat and disintegrate.
wouldn't a pocket be a better place to keep stuff whilst on a bike. If only his jersey had 3 pockets, he wouldn't have to hide his drugs up his shorts...
Maybe the new Rapha kit has a special supplement pocket in the shorts? They do try and think of everything.....
Caffeine suppository that slipped back out?
It looks like a label stitched into the hem to me.
"Here's your illegal drug pill Mr. Bradley. If you hide it in the very front, top of your shorts, make sure you put it in the black bit where people won't be able to see it, rather than in the blue bit, (which is only there on the left leg) where it would not only be much more visible to the world's media, but also considerably harder to get to. Good luck."
I think any illegal drug taking got a little more sophisticated than pills during a race a very long time ago, didn't it?
Photoshop?
Photoshop?
Nah just a bunch of people who got caught staring into the guys crotch trying to explain what they were looking for.
It's a spare SRAM powerlink in case his chain snaps
Dunno what it is but his knees are fugly.
I look at his legs and think 'well, they don't look *that* different to mine so how come he's that much betterer'. The git.
It's his pet beetle.

mmm they're lightweight jersey has, or at least had, a 'pill pocket' inside so already done.
As said above they all pop pills all the time that aren't on the banned list. Herbal stuff and allergen pills. He rode bloody well.

I'm pleased I wasn't the only cycle bore to spot that 😆
He was on a Dogma K on Sunday 8)
I only knew because I saw the photo elsewhere last week, i.e. before P-R 🙂
He seems to have another one concealed under the skin of his shin

Ah man! Back to just me in that club then! 😉
they're probably placebo's (placebos? placeboses?)anyway 🙂
Yep, I don't know much about road bike models, I'm just a pedant 😀
Painkiller, neurophen in one of those plastic/foil things they come in, cut to fit just one pill and put there for ease of getting at.
No biggy, move along please.
Its a Tic tac ,keep his breath fresh for those post race interviews.
It's where his mum hung them on the line with clothes pegs.

Painkiller
Most sense I've read. That was easy in the end, wasn't it?
Unless it was a powerful rare earth electromagnet! Mechanical doping! with another big magnet in one of the cars!? Mmmm!?!
painkiller or....

it can't be a French rider as they're not suppositories
