Anyone remember these then?

Just to really get the retro lovers of you out there going they are brand new & fitted on a brand new from the box 2005 Dawes Edge FST that is also now carrying an original purple USE Ti seatpin & 1990 pattern Flite Ti saddle. So far put around 200 miles on it since finishing building it & she is nicer & more fun to ride than any of the newer supposedly more superior bikes I have.

I think I had a set of those on my Raleigh M-Trax! Anodised purple is still cool! 8)

I once had some Salmon handlebars that we're painted in a carbon effect. Memory tells me that they we rather narrow and bonkers light.

Ha, I remember those mock-carbon bars. It's a wonder anyone who bought them lived to tell the tale! I still have some Fred Salmon cantilever brakes somewhere. They were bloody awful, but looked like those uber-expensive Gravity Research PipeDream brakes.
