Done it three times this week .....although is it still a trail when its pre ride and you camped there over night ?
How ever i just do hot water plus grind in a orikaso cup and yes i just hack a holewith my heel rinse the grind into and cover it up and firmly reinstall the divot

Coffee grounds rot down pretty quick, I wouldn't worry about it.

Slightly better kit availible these days but no where near as light 🙂
I'll be using an eblitz cup to warm the water, very good piece of kit 😀
My coffee dock at work offer bags of used coffee grounds as ideal composting material for gardeners. I suspect they'll do little harm, as long as they're not in a plastic bag.
