I have a few days of in a couple of weeks and fancy going somewhere different on the road bike . I could probably swing an overnighter in between the usual family day to day life. I'm based in East Lothian and have family in Elgin so Initially thought of driving to Ullapool and staying in a hostel and doing the Achiltibuie loop then possibly swinging in by my folks in Elgin.
I have already done the Beleach Na ba and as good as It was I fancy a change.
I could also head over to the west coast early doors by car and do something there then drive back which would mean a long day but not needing to stay over night.
Any other routes would be appreciated.
