Happened about 4/5 times now. OK for a while then,all of a sudden,drop seat for descent,and it doesn't come back up. Any advice,,or is it a "send back for repairs" issue
2 and a bit years old so out of warranty.

Long shot. Is it possible your seatpost clamp is a smidge too tight. I had something similar which looked like an intermittent fault. Backing of the tension off on the above sorted mine. Have you got the correct pressure in the gubbins & are the actuation hydraulics bled ?

bleed it, check psi is 250. If that doesnt work, then send it in. It will only get worse.
