Also looking at them.

@trumpton - could I ask how they size up say compared to five tens?
And how grippy / stiff are they?

Thanks

Hard to describe how stiff they are but seem ideal for flats and ok to walk in cannot feel the pedal pushing into my foot too much

.no idea about 5 10 sizing but feel and fit just like Van's. Soles feel grippy enough although I have only used them for xc so far.theyve never slipped off the pedal during winter. Cannot be compared to 5 10 grip though.i should imagine 5 10s are much better overall although I am happy with mine. They are great in mud wet etc and do not get soggy. They have been used with a hard tail so with some bumpy riding.

They're £30 at the moment, which is cheaper than having to keep replacing my Etnies as the pins are destroying the soles.

So I've ordered a pair on that basis alone.

I decided to go back to flats over the past winter so bought some of the On One shoes and some Superstar Nano pedals. I haven’t tried 5-10s so can’t compare but I’ve been pretty impressed with the combination. Even through the winter mud and rain, my feet felt pretty secure. The shoes are very comfortable too.

I ride nanos, so that's great to hear.
