One thing I've learnt over the years is that as a pie muncher I need a Thomson seatpost if I don't want to bend it. Why does nobody else know how to build a lardy proof seat post?

I'm 16 stone and I bent a twelvety too (2 actually) - except I replaced it with a Ritchy XC pro thing (but I'm a skinflint and it was on sale at CRC) and it's been fine for the last 3 years.
