Cannot decide if its worth paying the extra for the On-One Carbon version?
Has anyone got experience of both?
Any noticable difference in the way they ride?
Ta.
I can't compare with the On-One carbon forks but I can compare the On-One Cromo's to RC31's would should be similar. The cromo forks are fine but they are pretty solid as well as being a lot heavier than the RC31's.
Off-road I definitely prefer the carbon forks but for tarmac use found the cromos fine.
Had both. Carbon is worth the difference.
I found the On-one Cromo to be horribly harsh compared with RC31's. It was comparable with a Kona P2 Jump Fork I've used. I now use Salsa's steel fork which is a lovely thing and very compliant for steel.
The On-one carbon is a bit more heavy duty than something like the RC31, but I've not used it myself. You could take a look at Exotic from Carboncycles if you want something carbon for fewer pennies.
I had exotic on the SS and thought they were brilliant
+1 for Exotic
+2 for Exotic
+3 for Exotic.
wow I can see where this is going, thanks for the info 😉
Had both from on one - carbon definately worth the extra
On One carbon off road here. Top marks from me.
Had Pace RC31's and Exotic. Exotic for me 🙂
