Anyone tried these?

I used to quite like Mary bars

Yep, ridden North to South Wales in 3 and a bit days on them and Bonty 24/12 Solo 24 using them (carbon ones). Nice and comfy position.

I really liked them on my 29. On the 26 they made the bike feel really twitchy when out of the saddle.
Put normal risers back on and the 26 is fine. That made the bars on 29 feel odd so gone back to straight flat bars.
I have one pair left on my odds and ends bike I built up. It's a 26 and feels twitchy. Will put normal bars on when I get some.
They are dirt cheap on Planet X so give it a go.
If you are in Surrey pop a fiver in a charity box and come and collect a pair.

Just this moment ordered some - £35 for the carbon versions.

They are destined for a 29" long distance build I'll start as soon as I've chosen a frame - I'll stick them on my 26" full sus for the time being for a bit of a laugh...

As comfy as Mary bars, without looking quite so odd.

Thanks all (and for the kind offer zippykona) - did you find you needed a different stem length?

The problem might have been that in needing the extra rise I put a short, steep stem on.
