You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I have been away from cycling for a wee while now since loosing my bottle and getting a bit of a fat 43 year old c8nt.
The on one fatty looks like a bike that i would feel happy riding. Are you getting one and what do you expect to be getting out of the bike compared to a normal xc bike?.
I do. I'm 43 as well.
I'm looking for a change of pace from my 4" full suspension bike. A little snow riding, and maybe it will be ridable in wetter conditions without damaging the trails here.
You might want to hurry, though. I think that the US ones are sold out already per the MTBR forum...
I ordered one a while back.
In the meantime I've sort of gone off the idea.
Part of me wants to cancel the order, another part wants to get the bike to find out what all the fuss is about.
I have my name down for one. Just wanted something different from my main bike. Should double as a good winter / night ride bike too.
J
I need that.
druidh- what size is that? - (the big wheels make it hard to judge)
'funny how the orange stickers make it look even better.
I want one - with SSable dropouts
I want one - with SSable dropouts
If On-one do a swap-out varient I'd be seriously considering one over the next, potential FS 29er frame project 😐

You'll be wanting a Mukluk then.
stuey - I'm guessing it's a 16" as it looks to be the same as Ed Oxleys prototype.
That one looks like it could be mine.
......... hopefully
J
I've one on order to join my Mukluk and half fat other bike.
You can never have too many Fat Bikes
What do these weigh and are they any fun on ' normal ' singletrack, trail etc? ie ones without snow and sand?

32 lbs or so, so forget about speed records as it's all about fun and smiles per miles

*fingers in ears "la,la,la,la,lahhhhh"*
Oooooh, will I ?You'll be wanting a Mukluk then.
I thought I'd looked at all the (relatively) cheap ones and not seen a slutty dropout
2013 Mukluks use the Salsa "Alternator" dropout.
Pugsleys use a slot dropout.
