Website now says 40-60mm recommended stem length
I'm sure it used to be 60-80mm?
Has the geo changed?
Appreciate it's down to individual preference, just curious
Isn't it all part of the wider bars/narrower stem shift ?
Probably a result of me writing content.
James - you seem quite experienced, had a lot of bikes... I'd run a 50mm with 740mm bars.
But I'm sure there are people with 80's and 100's with 640mm bars out there.
Short stems work best with wide bars, longer stems with narrower.
Fill your boots, YMMV.
Mine mostly had 50 or 60. 70 worked well for when it was pressed into service for xc racing but wasn't that nice for anything else. 711mm bars.
