Anyone got any suggestions on what size to go for, everyone says 18inch suits most, I'm 6ft with 32inch leg?
i have a 32 leg and am 5 ft 10 i think the 18" will do you fine they have quite a long head tube i run a 70mm stem i think if you have a longer upper body and run a lay back seat post you will be fine.
6ft exactly, 33" inside leg, my 18" c456 fits me perfectly with a 60mm stem.
What headset and BB do you suggest? thinking of Hope just to match hubs etc. got raceface evolve xc cranks, any info on 456 build or any pitfalls to look out for would be great as this will be my first project.

I used the on one smoothie mixer headset - you have to be careful if using rockshox tapered-steerer forks, as the tapered bit is a smidge too long for the head tube.
Other than that, just go for it!
got a hope headset now as i my on one smoothie headset lower bearing is worn out and i could not find a replacement bearing.
Hope headset seems a hell of a lot lighter too.
