Got 2 adult and 1 kids bike ready for the tip. They are not high quality items - 1 Apollo, 1 Tesco, 1 Decathlon (to be fair that one's ok for a budget bike), however with a little work are usable. I've heard of schemes where naughty boys do up old bikes to keep them out of mischief, if anyone can suggest one of those? In Scotland preferably.

The Bike Station is one solution, but I'm not sure it still deserves its charitable status.

They do exactly what you describe in Bristol prison then sell them in town once a month. Not very local to you, though.
