Looking for a pair of older Pikes 2010 onwards roughly.

Were U-Turn good? Reliable? What year would I need to be looking at for 15mm thru yet still straight 1&1/8 steerer? Any noticeable difference between 20mm and 15mm thru? More modern Revs comparable to older Pikes?

Looking to run them at around 100mm for a mess around bike.

Consider this a not-so-Stealth wanted ad! Happy for forks that need service or repairs...keeps me out of trouble!

Also can I jump them on my XC bike and do sweet skids?👍🏻😁

Spring side reliable especially coil u-turn, damping side not so - typical poor MoCo performance and reliability.

Solid enough but not very sophisticated compared to modern forks. Wound down to 100/110 would be fine as a jump fork.

Wife has Coil U Turns on her Prophet, 20mm axle - no trouble with them over 11 or so years. Very irregular TFTune service.

They are better than my air (non-U-Turn) version of same era but, as pointed out, not as good as new stuff.

If anyone has got a pair of Gen 1 Pike, Coil U-turns for beans and buttons I'd be interested...

Pikes gradually became Revelations from about 2010 onwards I think.

I've got a pair of 150mm travel Revelations with 20mm maxle and a straight steerer. I'd be lying if I new the model year 2012ish probably. It's part of my collection of 26" straight steerer forks which will one day make me a fortune, when the retro scene really takes off and demand for ancient mid-range Rockshox fork start to take off.

Can do, I'm unlikely to ever need them. They are fixed travel though, so no use if you are looking for U-Turn

Thanks Rich, can they be shortened internally with spacers?

These are 26" presumably.? I've got a set of U-Turn air that have been PUSH tuned and a set of coil Pikes, 1 1/8" steerer, 20mm axle (also have a new hope 20mm hub in grey to go with if you want).
Last time they were ridden they were fine, replaced the coils with the uturns to drop some weight (ahh those were the days when things like weight were more important to us than performance!!) and then boxed the U-Turns when I broke the frame they were on and the new one was 27.5"

I have no clue what a fair price would be.. Quick ebay search says about £100.? Is that crazy.? More interested in getting rid of them than making a fortune.
Which ones were you interested in.? What length steerer do you need.?
I'm fairly sure the Coil ones have a regular and a stiff spring in the box.. I definately remember buying an extra spring.

Probably but not to 100mm, more like 130mm and you'd need to source the spacers
