Cheers Beds Road. It's been a long while since I rode an unmarked route, and flipping heck is that tough when you don't have the faintest clue as to where you are.
Brought back memories as well, firstly to a time when I didn't need glasses to read and not having to stop don glasses memorize the next bit and plod on.
So 64 miles took me 4 hours, don't know how so many did sub 31/2 hours riding to a printed route sheet without knowing where they were?

Well done Karl! I 'm in Edinburgh otherwise I'd be with you. Next year I'll ask for a Braille map.

Glad you enjoyed it Carl. Thanks for coming along with your clubmates. CC Luton next week?

I managed 3h 27 - and rode with just one other for the last 44 miles after stopping to take details after the incident at the top of Hexton Hill. I did however, have the advantage of

a) having the route on my Garmin
b) I pretty much knew the whole route off the top of my head as I put the route together!

You know what it looks like when a tissue has been left in your washing, that's what it looked like when I undid my jacket....no map left.

It's my birthday next Sunday, so i don't know. I do really fancy the new route though.
