I'm building a nukeproof cub scout up for my kid who is 55kg and not massively gnarly.

I have a choice between these two forks to fit to the frame.

RS Rev XX world cup dual air 140mm.

Vs

Dtswiss XMM140 twinshot. 140mm

Both with straight steerer & 15mm bolt thru.

Frame is specced to 120mm fork.

Which would you choose?

I had both a Rev (not World Cup though) and DT XMM back around 2010/14. The DT was better in every way including build quality, plushness and general performance. Best pre modern Pike fork I had.

DT probably a better fork. But the rev can probably be shortened to 120mm (with spacers iirc as it's dual air) and with the dual air you've more tuning options.

Which can you get spares for? That would be my first consideration.

Not a lot (if anything) for the twin shot, use that until I dies I guess.

Not the twin shot bit, tf tuned replaced the abs under warranty and it's been fine since but no one is currently doing it.
