Hey all.
I'm looking at old frames for a little winter project to keep me busy.
The sizing is confusing me so though I'd ask.
I ride a medium road/ mountain bike so what's that in old money? 23 inch
Inside leg is 32
I'd go for 21.5 / 22 for ease of use.
We used to subtract 10" from your floor to crutch inside leg. That tends to give less seat pin on how than is fsahionable. Check on the shape of the frame. My older bikes have a shorter TT than you would expect so a longer ST doesn't matter.
I'd say a medium road frame is 56cm (22"); a medium mtb frame is 18".
2.54cm in an inch for the conversion
