My son's bike is made up of my nice but old 26" gear. On today's ride his f-series Fox forks started leaking oil. I assume a seal has blown or deteriorated. I don't think it is financially worthwhile to send them away (and I have a stack of other old 26" forks to replace them with) but how easy are they to service? Are thr parts still likely to be available? I'm happy building up bikes and bleeding brakes etc but have always shied away from opening up suspension.

They are pretty easy assuming it is dust seals and foam rings. Does depend where the leak is.....
