Looking at some Shimano bars and there is another design available where I am from some sellers. Most are garish and blocky (like sold in the West), but some have a "spider-web" design on parts of them.
Are they old models? Alternative developing world models, or fake?

I like the design on the old ones better than the modern ones. Are stored alu bars safe to buy even if they've been in a storeroom for many years?
My eldest has a 'spider web' Pro stem on his bike and it looks fan-bloody-tastic.
I assume ally doesn't age too badly. I don't think I'd mind personally...
