Amused that they have an entire sub-forum for "am I being unreasonable?" 🙂
Was Hora involved?
it's great, full of women moaning about their lazy men! and mils
it's Mumsnet, nobody actually annoys them it's just the way they are
One of the posters does have a valid point.
Because their bum cracks are incredibly sweaty
As far as mumsnet rants go, it's not as one-sided as I was imagining. There seems to be some pretty fair comments aimed at bad drivers.
You have to assume every car driver is a myopic ****wit with no concept of highway code or peripheral awareness all the time being a particular highlight...
Seemed fairly tame and we'll reasoned for mumsnet, it'll change when they all start on the white wine spritzers in the afternoon. 🙂
Mumsnet just smells of white wine and pointless desperation
pointless desperation
One of my favourite perfumes on a lady.

Especially when combined with Eau de Low Self Esteem.
Mumsnet cycling threads are often better than ours, more pro cycling, less whiney, much more sweary.
I wonder what this place smells of? GT85 and boiling piss?

Woodburners & mild incontinence.
I wonder what this place smells of?
Smug superiority and pies.
While scarednoob may have a point about a tiny minority of cyclists being dicks, she/he gets points docked for idiotic comment at the end
one less car is always one less car even if they are a twuntYou're not saving the planet love, you're just lengthening the traffic jams all over it.

really?
My money's on egg butties and smegma.
Nah, Finish Line and sweaty arse crack 🙂
I wonder if 'people' think about agricultural traffic in the same kinda way as they do about cyclists (given the slow, difficult to pass issue)?
There'll be plenty of coming and going soon, as the combine's will be out any day now, and by the time you add in tractors and big grain trailers, nobody is going anywhere fast in the countryside.
Amused that they have an entire sub-forum for "am I being unreasonable?"
And several acronyms - AIBU (am i being unreasonable)
YABVU (you are being very unreasonable) i presume.

It even applies to bikes - I get lots more respect on the road when I ride a big cargo bike.
I do worry about some of the women on Mumsnet.
Especially the ones with logins like motherfu@#ingchainsaw.
Probably not the most chilled out there?
I cycle to work along our local cycle paths and regularly get shouted at. Usually because I'm not going as fast as they think I should be, and don't immediately leap out of their way.Lovely, smooth, wide path, plenty of room to cycle round each other if need be but in the last few days I've had
"Get out of the ****ing way you silly bitch"
"Move, now""
"**** off, you're not a proper cyclist anyway" - presumably because I'm not togged up in Lycra
really ? I call bullshit.

No, just piss.
My favourite bit on the thread is...
Not all on road matters. Cyclists seem to be very "entitled " in their attitude... ...The following day took my mother out to a rather smart gastro pub for her lunch, a group of them, quite sweaty and wearing log covered bright lycra sat on the next table, it was the sort of place people celebrate birthdays etc. and I'm surprised they weren't asked to sit outside.
Asked to sit outside as the pub is the kind of place people celebrate at! What the absolute ****? I'm almost speechless!

If they were as described, with actual turds adhering to them, then I think she has a point.
