Wow. Just wow.
Release date = 1st april
I'll wait for a 20% off sale
I'll just cancel my Ducati order🙄
It’s “quite nice looking” but the price is just pathetic headline grabbing.
Yep - bit ugly.
But also like a "machine from outer space"... brave designers these Mondraker folks!
Crazy machine. Maybe a great bike. But pretty sure: will never see one in real life.
Thank goodness! I’ve been waiting for 20 years for bladed carbon wheels to make a comeback.
Wheels definitely don't help its looks.
Full Spec & £5.00 Cheaper at MTB Monster lol
Think I’d at least want XX1 eagle...
You could buy a watch for that.
You could buy an eBike for that.......
Cool, free pedals!!
Easyjet scales would still claim its overweight and have to pay extra
Why do manufacturers keep trying to give us TT integrated stems. It wouldn't look so bad if not for that. What's the point...aero on a mtb??
Genuine question- do people a actually buy these bikes? I sporadically see “superbikes” and 10k plus bikes on the web or featured in magazines etc and am wondering if they are made to actually sell or is it just for the publicity? A bit like a concept car at a car show or something?

Yes.
Is there a case for a UCI min weight for MTBs

I've a friend with one Cannondale FS and one HT of similar eye watering price superbike tag. Both bought half price at the end of the season.

It’s the same for mtb (inc DH!) as the road one 😂
9KG is very light for a full sus bike and that weight may make a worthwhile difference if you are at the top of Elite level I suppose.
Do you care what your bike looks like when you are XC world champ ?

Yes, there are a lot of very rich people out there where £10k on a bike is just something to spend some money on that month.
There were a lot of that sort of money bikes on the Swiss Epic this year.... Some folk do have the cash to spend...
Looks like a FS version of
No dropper post?!
I'll have to cancel my order.
@Simonbarnes comment of the week sir .. cap dothed
wow
Bet that headset/stem interface will be lovely with some British mud and grit in between!
But no riding in any wooded areas with those wheels or stick-face-ground might cost you a few days off work so even more money
I can't find the rules for mountain bikes but the rules that contain the min' weight of 6.8kg (?) or whatever it is don't apply to mountain bikes
I thought downhill was just "Powered by pedals"

No idea if there are really "a lot".
But I'am surprised to see these 6 k to 10 k sleds.
And yes - seems like they don't care about the 10 k... after a year they have a new Dubai sled.
Fine for them. Hope they have fun.

All depends what you call a lot I suppose. Certainly a hundred thousand in this country alone. Only need a few that are into MTB or road cycling.

And golfing might be boring.
It's like a Raleigh burner from hell! 😆
I think we have reached peak gopping.
My eyes! Fascinating and damn it’s grim. Just wish I could un-see it. Could buy an OK aeroplane for that, decent car and magnificent motorbike.
didn't peak cycles just buy Ubyk?
Yes
I see they are not doing Hope! No surprise there lol. Am surprised Jungle going with them.
