'07 Fox Talas 36. I got back from my most recent ride and, although they were working fine, when the forks were adjusted to a lower travel position the popped back to 160 unless there was a small amount of weight on them. Unfortunately I've just looked at them and the rebound no longer has any effect. At 160mm the rebound is very slow. Turn to 130 and the travel stays the same but the rebound speeds up and the same happens for 100.
I know it's asking a lot, but I'm hoping for a solution that doesn't involve Mojo etc. Good luck with your diagnosis.
Bump?
By the sounds of it, it's time for a trip to Mojo or Tf are about the only way to fix them. My 2011 ones died yesterday.
You could try looking at the Fox website where you will find service instructions and try to service them yourself but because they are Talas you will find them to quite complicated inside.
Loco Tuning - local to here, decent chap, better than TFT/Mojo prices.
Thanks for the replies. I'll look on Fox but I guess I'll have to send them away.
loco all the way great service and a real price
