Thinking of giving this a go - See earlier post about HA and the fact i cant run an angleset.

Anyone else done this in a Hightower (last years model, not the new one)? How did you find it?

I stuck a Burgtec one in mine. Angle app says I’m at 66 degrees with the 29 wheels. Had to flip into high setting though when I ch aged the back tyre to a 2.6 dhr.

Recently switched to 27.5 2.8 magic Mary front and Hans deaf rear 2.8 didnt recheck the angles.

First test ride tomorrow or Saturday morning.

Cheers. Any problems? Why did changing the rear tyre mean changing the flip chip?

It was a combination issue. I run a long shocked DVO Topaz, at around 142mm travel, I ground down the end bumper shim that was installed to leave just 2mm left so it’s got a longer stroke.

Was okay with the stock 2.35 tyre but the tread was close to rubbing the down tube with 2.6 dhr with all the air out of the shock and full squish. bb still feels plenty low enough.
