Is it a simple job to swap them over, ie 5 mins if you are going somewhere a steeper and more technical than you normally ride for a weekend. Or is it something that once fitted should be left in place.

Changing a shock bushing doesn't take long.

However, I defiantly think it's more hassle than it's worth.
Just pick one and stick with it.

Depends on the bike, takes a couple of minutes on mine but some bikes are fiddlier. I never take mine out though

There's definitely a difference on my bike, others may vary. However, it was a complete balls ache from where I got mine....( http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/offsetbushingscom) ended up taking a file to them. I wouldn't want to be swapping them daily, but if it's for an alps trip or the like then 10mins for a week of riding isn't to much hassle, nor is it for a weekend of uplift etc saying that.

Offset bushings from Proshox in Poland on mine. Nicely made stainless steel.

1 degree slacker, about 1/2" BB drop IIRC. The difference was definitely noticeable.

Pro racers may have their mechanic switch them for different races, but I can't see it being worth the trouble for a normal rider. Either you prefer the original setup, or the offset ones.
