Plan to ride penmachno and the marin trail and probably head to coedy Brenin, got Fri night, sat all day and sun morn to ride, anything else better than those options. Obviously will need to feed and water, good pubs, caff etc. Is there a nightclub 😕
Think you've got all the nearest trail centres there. For cafes visit the Alpine Cafe for cake (in the station). For breakfast visit the Belly Buster cafe (don't know it's real name but thats what they call the breakfast). It's opposite the chippy at the top of town.
There's a few pubs but most people end up in the Stables bar at the royal oak.

I'd swap the Marin for a loop round the Cowy Mountains and a run up,the Drum. Great views (weather permitting) of Conwy harbour, Castle, Puffin Island and Anglesy. A nice ride out over the hills, nice grassy ST, tonnes of trails all over the place, some good fast grassy descents and a fair bit of climbing.
I think that bike maps do a route guide as its a bit tough to explain, oh and if you do go take a map too, just in case

you could also visit Antur Stiniog which is between Betws and coed y brenin for Down Hill Tracks/ uplift.
Or for a more sedate ride you could ride around the lake at trawsfynydd or hire e-bikes at the cafe/visitors centre nr the old power station.

Marin trail is always good, don't miss Cadair Idris if you like views, The Beast trail at Cyb is,....a beast.
We had a couple of fantastic meals at the Pont Y Pair Inn which is about 2 mins walk up the hill from the Royal Oak (stables). We ate at both a couple of times and the Pont was much better.
Pronounced Betiss or betus (depending on what part of Wales you're from). Betsy grates on me.

Wasn't overly impressed with Coed-Y when we did it. Found the longer trails were just lots of fire-road climbing for a bit of down. Much preferred the Marin trail. There's an extra bit you can add on which is really good too..
